Vino Veritas is the first foal of Raspberry. The granddam Ruhm & Ehre was purchased at the Oldenburg Foal Auction and was awarded a State Premium in 2010. The great granddam St.Pr./El.St. Rubica is a full sister to Ruby-Girl, who herself became the dam of the licensed stallions Rustin (by Rubinstein) and Sandro's Heir (by Sandro Hit). She is also a half-sister to the licensed stallion Rubino (by Rubinstein) and to the mare Rosebel (by Rubinstein), who produced the licensed Spirit of Sandro Hit (by Sandro Hit).
