Espléndido MT was licensed as the second Reserve Champion at the Westphalian Main Licensing and moved to Gestüt Vorwerk via the stallion market.
After making his competitive debut in 2025 in advanced-level dressage classes, he was already able to prove himself in dressage classes at that level at the age of six, riding with Yvonne Kläne.
The sire Esamillo was premium stallion at the Hanoverian licensing in 2017 and in 2021 he was awarded the Weltmeyer Prize. In 2021, Escamillo was runner-up (93.4 percent) in the World Championships for six-year-old dressage horses in Verden under Manuel Dominguez Bernal/ESP and in 2022 the pair won bronze at the World Championships for seven-year-old dressage horses in Ermelo/NED.
More than 30 sons from his first two crops were licensed, including several premium stallions.
His dam, Viktoria, placed in tests for young riding horses.
In the pedigree follow the Burg-Pokal winner Vitalis, Friedenstraum I and Rimini.
Out of the granddam Verb.Pr.St. Flying Cloud comes the international event horse Alive and Kicking (by Arpeggio).
From the Westphalian dam line licensed stallions like Ribery (by Rubels/int. Grand Prix), Laurentianels (by Laurentianer) or Alcatraz (by Apart) and numerous sport horses like Perina (by Pit I)/Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum, Contesse du Lys (by Champion du Lys) or Clever PKZ (by Cornet Obolensky)/Pius Schwizer/SUI.
