Cardi MT initially won ribbons in show jumping competitions with Irena Westerholt and represented Oldenburg at the Bundeschampionat. Under Helmut Schönstetter, the pair went on to achieve a string of victories in the international circuit for six-year-olds starting in 2024 and for seven-year-olds in 2025. Under World Championship sixth-place finisher and European Championship team bronze medalist Max Kühner (AUT), Cardi MT is now continuing her winning streak with victories and placings in Gorla Minore (ITA), Arezzo (ITA), Lido di Camaiore (ITA), and Aachen.
Conthargo’s sire produced a string of top-class horses, including the Olympic show jumpers Conthargo-Blue (ridden by Eiken Sato of Japan) and Condara (ridden by Luis Fernando Larrazabal of Venezuela), the European Championship show jumper Caept’n Hoek (ridden by Armando Trapote of Spain), as well as the Pan American Games winners Pia Contra (ridden by Nicolas Pizarro of Mexico) and Abril Iconthon (ridden by Leandro Moschini of Argentina). Nearly 80 of his sons have been licensed, including the two-time champion stallion Conthalou, Continental Blue - who has placed in Grand Prix competitions - the Oldenburg State Champion Conkanno PS, and the serial winner in show jumping classes, Conthalor Blue PS, as well as the Westphalian Champion Stallion Con Touch RS, the Premium Stallion and OS Grand Premium Winner Coeur Rouge, and the current Show Jumping Champion and Reserve Champion from Mecklenburg.
The dam, Christina - whose full sister Cara won international U25 show jumping competitions with Charlotte Westphal and has now placed highly in Children’s Nations Cups with Eliska Valentova (CZE) - also produced the 1.40-meter show jumper Casper (by Chacoon Blue), ridden by Patrick Bölle.
The dam’s sire, Christian, was successful in international show jumping competitions, including Nations Cups, under his breeder Sören von Rönne and with Jamie Gornall (GBR). Thirteen of his sons have been licensed, and 14 of his competitive offspring are successful in 1.60-meter show jumping, including Theo (ridden by Conor Swail, IRL).
Third in the pedigree is Catoki, who competed successfully in Nations Cups, World Cup show jumping, and Grand Prix events under Philipp Weishaupt, and whose offspring - including 75 licensed stallions - have achieved success up to the championship level, such as the World Championship team bronze medalist and winner of the Aachen Nations Cup, Catch me if you can OLD under Laura Klaphake.
Also hailing from the Oldenburg performance line are the licensed stallions Different Color (by Diablue PS), Doc Holliday (by Diamond Hit), and Fusion OLD (by Fürst Romancier; M**-Dr.), as well as the sport horses Silvertops Emil (by Emerald van ‘t Ruytershof; 1.45 m jumper) and Dot View (by Diarado; 1.45 m jumper).
