Eichenkönig made his sport debut at the age of six in tests for young dressage horses under the saddle of Yvonne Kläne.
Eichenkönig was born by embryo transfer. With Eichendorff as sire and Pathétique as dam, Eichenkönig's career is marked out.
After his career in international top sport with Victoria Max-Theurer, Eichendorff started his second career in breeding late. He was licensed at the age of ten in Westphalia. Eichendorff is one of six licensed brothers, he is the half brother to our Moliere, full brother to Estobar NRW/Hubertus Schmidt and Ehrendorf/Alizee Froment/FRA, as well as half brother to Discover/Benjamin Werndl and Triple Crown.
The dam DSP Pathétique is with the Olympic champion Dorothee victorious in international Grand Prix competitions.
The granddam Pennylaine also produced the licensed Freeman GE (by Fürstenball).
The great-granddam St.Pr.St. Philadelphia is the dam of the medium (M) level dressage horse Freestyle (by Fürst Heinrich).
