Alvarinho GV recorded victories in the international advanced (S) level tour for young horses straight away in 2024 and continued his winning streak at the CDI Achleiten. There he was unbeatable in the classifications for five, six and seven-year-olds and even broke the 90 percent mark. At the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses for seven-year-olds in Ermelo/NED, he finished fourth in the small final, narrowly missing out on a place in the final. His first placings in St. Georges dressage competitions followed in 2025 under his trainer Laura Strobel.
His sire August der Starke OLD won international Grand Prix competitions with Victoria Max-Theurer/AUT and also produced Augustin OLD, fifth at the European Championships and thirteenth at the Olympic Games, also ridden by Victoria Max-Theurer.
The dam Jamaica was a discovery at the 2012 Hanoverian Auction.
The granddam Riva Bella is a half-sister to Victoria Max-Theurer's successful horse Blind Date (by Breitling W). The great-granddam Donnice also produced the internationally Intermediate II-successful Lexus Gold (by Locksley II) as well as the small tour horses Fürst-Figo (by Fielmann) and Royal Princess of Black Diamonds (by Rubin-Royal).
The fourth dam, St.Pr.St. Petrouchka, is a full sister to the licensed stallion Placido. She is the dam of the two full siblings Donnerfee and Don Diarado (by Donnerhall) who were successful up to Intermediate I level.
Hanoverian mare line of Cadarina: from here also the stallions Daimler (by Daimyo xx), Dorano (by Donnerhall) and Donatelli I and II (both by Donnerhall).
