Ermelo/NED: Alvarinho GV fourth

Alvarinho GV only just missed out on a place in the final of the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses by coming fourth in the small final.

While he was still somewhat impressed by the stadium backdrop in Ermelo in the qualifier, the son of August der Starke OLD, bred by us, focussed much better on the aids of his rider Laura Strobel in his second appearance in the seven-year-old class. The jury awarded him correspondingly high marks: an 8.5 each for trot and walk and an 8.3 for perspective. Overall, the quality of his performance was rated at 81.600 per cent.

Together with our Imperial MT's tenth place in the six-year-old final, we are highly satisfied with the first championship outing of our two young stallions. Many thanks, dear Laura, for your fantastic training work.
