Warendorf: Alvarinho GV to the World Championships

Alvarinho GV was the first horse to qualify for the World Championships for Seven-Year-Old Dressage Horses in Ermelo at the beginning of September.

The son of August der Starke, who we bred ourselves, impressed the jury led by national trainer Monica Theodorescu with a remarkable performance under his trainer Laura Strobel. Judge Dr. Dietrich Plewa praised in his comments: “A horse with a high degree of elasticity. In trot consistently with good impulsion, natural cadence and good possibilities in the rich reinforcement. The walk is super through the body, good forward and over stride, also with downright scholastic extension, calm and relaxed, but still striding diligently. The canter is clear uphill with good underjump, whereby the horse shows a very good willingness to collect."
