Fifth edition of Dressur Cappeln International with Isabell Werth

Numerous equestrian celebrities have announced their participation for the fifth edition of the Dressage Cappeln International. Starting at the CDI4* event, from August 10th to 12th on the grounds of the picturesque stud Vorwerk in Cappeln, Lower Saxony, is none other than Isabell Werth.

The most successful dressage rider worldwide and of all times will be facing strong competition in Cappeln: Nathalie zu Sayn Wittgenstein/DEN, Patrik Kittel/SWE, Tinne Vilhelmson Silven/SWE, Judy Reynolds(IRL, Daniel Bachmann Anderson/DEN, Sascha Schulz/LUX and Nicholas Wagner/LUX have also secured their spots in the CDI4*. Additionally the World Cup sixth, European Cup fifth and Olympia thirteenth from Austria, Victoria Max-Theurer, will be attending. "Many use our competition as a last rehearsal before the World Equestrian Games, taking place in September in Tyron/USA, due to its optimal circumstances. So we can expect some top-notch and exciting sport.", the head of the competition, Sissy Max-Theurer, explains.

The competition spectrum reaches from Grand Prix to international tests for young horses. The audience can expect to see two Grand Prix tours, one of them with Grand Prix freestyle - the other with a Grand Prix special finale, as well as a small and medium tour.

Starting directly on Friday at 8 am is the Qualifier for five-year-old dressage horses. At 9 am the Grand Prix freestyle qualification is taking place. Continuing at 12:30 am with the qualifier for the seven-year-old dressage horses, before the Grand Prix qualification for the special, at 2 pm, finalizes the first competition day. On Saturday, August 11th, the finale of the five-year-olds, at 8 am, and the finale of the seven-year-olds, 11:50 am take place. In between, at 9 am, the participants of the small tour in St. Georges will start. The highlights of the afternoon are the Inter A of the medium tour at 1:30 pm and the Grand Prix freestyle at 3 pm. On Sunday at 8 am the Inter II of the medium tour takes place and at 10 am the Grand Prix special. The finale of the CDI4* will be the Inter I of the small tour at 1:30 pm.
