Cappeln: Westphalian broodmare and foal show
Wednesday 23. August 2017
In wonderful summer weather our foals presented themselves the Westphalian Commission.

20 riding- and cold-blooded-horse foals were listed in the catalogue. The deputy breeding director Kathrin Tosberg and Carsten Lenz, the sales manager, came to Cappeln as commission representing the Westphalian horse breed. In the beautifully decorated arena and with the matching music of Hermann Koopmeiners, all foals presented themselves exemplarily.

A filly by Fuerst Romancier from the breed of Stud Vorwerk was exhibited as winning foal in ring one. The mother of the foal is the premium mare Normandie by Negro-Breitling W. In his comment Carsten Lenz particularly praised the excellent type, the movement, in particular the good walk, the good frame and the strong joints.

The second ring was won by a filly by Rock Forever I from the premium mare Osterinssel by Rosandro-Wolkentanz II. Breeder and owner of this foal is Victoria Max-Theurer. "A true movement artist who is always alert and on" was commented.

In the third ring, a stallion by Rosandro, bred by Stud Vorwerk, left his competitors behind. The mare Ruhm&Ehre by Sir Donnerhall-Castro gave birth to this black foal. Carsten Lenz was full of praise and titled him as an absolute giant, who is powerful from the hind leg and also of noble body harmony.

At this show, especially the sire Rosandro was able to draw attention. That is why we are pleased to offer fresh semen of this stallion at our stud, starting in 2018.
